General

All of our servers are UK based, predominantly in the BlueSquare data centre in London. This applies to our shared, vps and dedicated hosting servers.

Existing customers who have purchased hosting directly from UKHost4u can contact us directly via our support system:
You can still submit a support ticket even if you do not currently have a password for the support system. Most of our website hosting plans come with a choice of Linux or Windows operating systems and many customers are confused as to which is the best option. However, the decision can be quite simple by considering the following questions.
- Do you require the ability to run ASP/ASP.net scripts (hint: such scripts often have the file extensions .asp or .aspx)?
- Do you require MS SQL database support?
- Do you require any other Windows only technology?
- Do you prefer to use a Plesk control panel to manage your hosting account?
If you answer yes to any of the above then Windows hosting is the option for you but otherwise you may find our Linux web hosting plans easier to manage, maintain and of course cheaper!
